As far as the supply of sapphire substrates is concerned, Li Bingjie believes that since Japanese manufacturers account for only about 20% of the global sapphire substrate supply, including Kyocera Kyocera and Namiki, the earthquake-resistant Namiki Akita sapphire substrate plant has not received too much equipment. Large damage, mainly due to power outages, can resume normal production as long as power is restored. Although Kyocera has a factory located in the hardest hit area of â€‹â€‹Fukushima, it does not affect the supply of sapphire substrates because it does not produce sapphire substrates.

However, LED backlights will continue to observe shipments in the LCD supply chain as demand is placed next. Li Bingjie stressed that the TV panel module must be shipped smoothly, and the LED die can follow the shipment. For example, the earthquake in Japan damaged the ACF anisotropic conductive film (glue) factory of Hitachi and SONY, especially Hitachi ACF accounted for 50% of the global supply, but one factory is located in the disaster area. The entire Japanese ACF accounts for 70% of global supply. Whether other components have different degrees of influence remains to be seen.
