The LED lighting equipment is a photonics festival in Taiwan. Target applications for Taiwan's LED industry have been dominated by FPD backlights in recent years, accounting for about 40% of the total. Until now, the use of small-sized displays has been the center of attention. However, the proportion of large-scale display applications will gradually increase in the future, and it is expected that this will be reversed in 2012. In addition, the use of lighting is also expanding, and it is estimated that by 2013 it will grow to approximately 20% of the total (Figure 1). In lighting applications, not only residential uses, but also commercial facilities and road uses are expected to grow substantially.
