Qualcomm officially released the Snapdragon 835 chip at this CES 2017, and provided support for virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) as one of its promotional highlights. As part of its collaboration with Lions Gate, Qualcomm also launched a virtual reality headset with the theme "Dinosaurs Team." In addition, it is not much different from Gear VR, Day Dream View, or other smart machine-based devices.
Of course, Qualcomm still has a hand. Thanks to the pre-depth camera in the built-in prototype, this "Dinosaurs" VR device also supports the "inside and outside tracking" function. This function is simply that compared to other mobile phone boxes, Qualcomm's mobile phone box moves the VR contents of the mobile phone when the player moves, but it cannot be used in the same place as other VR boxes.
Qualcomm also exhibited the VR all-in-one as shown below. The specific parameters were not announced, but it was higher than the VR820 prototype it exhibited last year.
