LED semiconductor lighting network is in the lighting industry, from time to time will hear the "professional" voice of some professional outsiders. Most of them are evaluations of lighting quality, such as light pollution, glare and other terms are more catchy, but really have to ask the bottom, many people do not have an accurate definition of these professional terms, but personally feel:
Really shaking, light pollution!
Colorful, light pollution!
Too bright, light pollution
If you don't do anything, you will get some colorful light pollution!
If you only rely on personal senses to judge things that you are not familiar with, you will be biased. In fact, there are standard differences in light pollution in the world. Generally, light pollution is generally divided into three categories, namely, white light pollution, artificial daylight and color light pollution. Each category has a subdivision standard identification standard. In view of the limited space, it will not be introduced one by one.
And those light pollution often use media architecture as a carrier. In this issue, Mr. Chang Zhigang will give us a deep analysis of the concept of media architecture and light pollution.
1. Night light environment and media building
The evaluation of media architecture is very different, and the evaluation angle should be comprehensive.
It is a real phenomenon that media organizations are mixed. But this may be more in the field of designers, especially in China, and more is that the lighting industry is paying attention to this matter, so it cannot be said in general terms. Last year's 11th G20 summit in Hangzhou, it may be mixed in the design circle, but the local people and the government like it very much, so in his view, the general approach is not rigorous.

Media architecture, which originated from a form of public art, a work or a creative approach, was later evolved in architecture. In China, more and more lighting designers are involved in it, and it is used as a design method for building facade lighting, which is a staggered and unclear relationship. The different evolution of these two ideas has produced differences in understanding of media architecture.
The evaluation of media architecture should first look back to its origin, public art. Does it play a role in shaping the space and promoting public behavior in public space? From the perspective of lighting design, to judge a series of problems such as light pollution, energy consumption, etc., we need to integrate as much as possible from the aspects of architectural space, public art, architectural performance, lighting design, night vision environment and so on. To evaluate, we will get more objective conclusions.
Similarly, from the perspective of lighting design, there are different judgments on the evaluation of its quality. For example, the traditional lighting method on the performance of the building, the emphasis on the structure and volume relationship of the building, such a relationship has changed in the moment, the lighting of the building is no longer just reflecting light, sometimes the building has become light origin of. Some buildings are autonomously illuminated, and naturally, the evaluation criteria should be different.

For the aesthetic value, this is not an objective evaluation, but these are from the ordinary people or outside the industry evaluation, they are not professional, but it is the most intuitive judgment of the public, it can be used as a basis for evaluation. Correspondingly, the judgment in the profession needs to be cautious and not too rashly negated.
In the face of negative impacts, we should think about solutions. We should not be ruined. The evaluation of the impact on media buildings should see his two sides. We need to establish an attitude, even if it is mixed, even if the disadvantage is greater than the benefits, but if it It is the future direction of development. What we should do is to go to its dross and take the essence, instead of the disadvantages outweighing the advantages, we will abolish the whole idea, so we cannot simply blindly evaluate the public opinion in a single direction.
2. Light pollution that changes from time to time cannot be avoided
The public's understanding of light pollution is changing with the times.
In the era when there was no mobile phone in the past, everyone always said that watching TV hurts the eyes, and now it is said that the mobile phone hurts the eyes. We can't say that we no longer watch TV and no longer use mobile phones. Many things and phenomena are the inevitable result of a society's development to a certain stage.
What you have to admit, although we are shouting to eliminate light pollution every day, we also know that this is really unrealistic. Because the night scene lighting is a trend, and under the general trend, many bright works are unsatisfactory, and it is inevitable.
Whether it is in the building, the environment, or the accessories of the individual, there have been tremendous changes. On the one hand, we cannot deny the convenience that these changes bring to our lives, and we cannot avoid the negative impact of these changes on our lives. .
Can't easily say that it has a bad point, we don't want to use it anymore, what we can do is how to improve. Therefore, how to reduce light pollution, or even to avoid damage to the surrounding environment caused by light pollution is the solution to the problem.

3. The evaluation criteria for light pollution should keep pace with the times.
With the innovation of lighting technology, evaluation standards should also keep pace with the times.
First, for the evaluation of light pollution, different standards should be adopted and cannot be evaluated by individual sensory standard standards. Glare and light pollution, CIE (Commission Internationale del'Eclairage, International Commission on Illumination) is standard, and this standard is based on a series of calculations by experts.
But the standard does not mean absolute accuracy.
Standards must be kept up to date. According to different situations, including the adaptation of the human eye, it is necessary to make judgments based on the current environment rather than the past environment.
In fact, as a designer, we should try to reduce the phenomenon of glare and light pollution in the design process. There are many conditions in today's technology. Whether it is the design of optical system or the performance of the whole design concept, there are many ways to reduce it. Light pollution, and there have been many successful cases and attempts can be referenced and borrowed, including some works of cooperation with many domestic and foreign design agencies, also won international awards.
There are also very good and creative attempts in this glare solution, including the dual-frequency concept, naked-eye 3D, filtering and reflection in optical materials, which are now technically achievable. Therefore, the lighting designer should go out, listen to it, take a look, judge a thing, the quality of a work, should remove the colored glasses in the profession, restore this thing what it is.

In short, light pollution can not be avoided, but can be alleviated. The evaluation criteria for light pollution in each era are different, but what is certain is that no matter what era, for the people, it is necessary to raise the overall lighting awareness. For designers, you need to sink your mind and do some lighting design that is loyal to the environment and loyal to your health.
There are many trends that we can't change, but we can adapt and improve it.
Encapsulated transformers are low frequency which covered in a thicker coating of insulation than typical. Often the coils are completely encased in epoxy or an epoxy and aggregate mixture. Sometimes they are referred to as [potted" or [cast coil".
The encapsulated design is especially suited for installations in harsh environments where dust, lint, moisture and corrosive contaminants are present. Typical applications include: pulp and paper plants; steel mills; food processing plants; breweries; mines; marine and shipboard installations.
