Everett, Washington, USA, April 27, 2017 - Fluke and Veros Systems have reached an agreement to collaborate on asset performance and condition monitoring technologies to improve insight into the efficiency and reliability of motor-driven machines . The Fluke 438-II motor efficiency and electrical performance tester is the first tool to be introduced after the collaboration.
Fluke is a leading supplier of power quality instruments and technologies for critical industrial equipment maintenance. The Fluke 438-II analyzes three-phase power quality measurement data and uses innovative methods developed by Veros to calculate motor output torque, speed, horsepower, and efficiency. Using this information, engineers and technicians can evaluate system performance and detect overload conditions while the motor is running, eliminating the need for mechanical sensors such as speedometers, strain gauges, or other intrusive sensors. The technology combines the Fluke 430 Series with Veros technology to further enhance the industry's ability to identify energy waste and maintain critical machinery.
Fluke Corporation (FLUKE)Founded in 1948, Fluke is a world leader in electronic test tools. Over the years, it has created and developed a specific technology market that provides superior measurement and inspection fault products for a variety of industries. Fluke's users range from technicians, engineers, metrologists, etc., who use Fluke's test tools to install, troubleshoot and manage industrial power, electrical equipment and process calibrations to control quality. In the past five years, Fluke's testing tools have won numerous awards, including the Best Test Tools Award in the Test & Measurement World and the Control Engineering Engineer's Choice Awards, which have been praised by users.
