NXP Semiconductors introduced the first video decoder, the SAF7115, which is compliant with the Automotive Electronics Council (AES) standard Q100. This video capture device is designed for high-performance telematics systems, including car video reception. , car entertainment and car navigation. As a multinational company dedicated to designing and manufacturing high-tech systems and components for the automotive industry, Magneti-Marelli recently selected the SAF7115 video decoder for its new infotainment platform, including navigation, car radio and MP3. The SAF7115 will decode video signals from different devices and provide high quality images for infotainment systems.

The car entertainment industry is growing steadily. According to Richard Robinson, principal analyst at iSuppli's automotive electronics industry, "The sales revenue of the global integrated OEM and accessories market for automotive infotainment systems is expected to grow to $39.8 billion in 2008, compared to 2007. The annual 36.98 billion US dollars increased by 7.9%."

The SAF7115 decoder can handle differential video inputs and reduce the decoder's sensitivity to engine and vehicle operating noise, providing automotive manufacturers with the highest possible image quality and performance. Differential inputs provide greater cost efficiency and high quality performance by reducing the investment in shielded cables in the overall infotainment system.

NXP's SAF7115 is certified by the Automotive Electronics Council's standard Q100 (stress testing of integrated circuits for automotive applications). AEC's Parts Technical Committee is a standardization organization for building reliable, high-quality electronic components that meet these standards for harsh environments without the need for additional component-level conditions.

The SAF7115 consists of the SAF7113 and SAF7118 decoders and the SAF7129A encoder, extending the existing line of video chips for NXP's automotive applications.

NXP's SAF7115 video decoder is available today.

Ferrite Driver Unit

Why do you like to use ferrite magnets? Because it does not rust, does not oxidize, does not corrode and is absolutely environmentally friendly.
Why don't ferrite magnets rust?
The chemical name of ferrite magnet is iron tetroxide. The main components are: Fe3O4. It is already an oxide of iron, so it is very difficult to be oxidized again. Other magnets (the main component is iron) are made of magnetized metal iron or other elements. Like other iron and steel, they can be oxidized and rusted, and the oxidized part will lose their magnetism.
What are the advantages (advantages) of ferrite magnets
1. Low cost, low price. Raw material cost is cheap.
2. Good temperature stability. It can be used in temperatures of -40 degrees Celsius and +350 degrees Celsius.
3. It is just mentioned that it does not rust.
4. The demagnetization curve is approximately a straight line.
5. Light weight, density is (4.6-5.1) X103kg/M3
6. The anisotropy constant of the magnetic crystal is large.
7. Large coercivity Hc (between AlNiCo alloy material and rare earth cobalt permanent magnet material)
8. High resistivity.ferrite magnet driver unit
