[High-tech LED News] LCD TV panel prices continued to decline, the panel double tiger Chi Mei, AUO's September revenue doubled 1% lower than in August.
Chi Mei Electric's consolidated revenue in September was 41.466 billion Taiwan dollars, down 1.3% month-on-month. In terms of shipments, large-size combined shipments were 11.517 million, down 7.3% month-on-month; small and medium-sized combined shipments were 38.308 million, down 3.8% month-on-month.
AUO's revenue in September was 32.915 billion yuan, down 1.1% month-on-month. Q3 consolidated revenue was 98.927 billion yuan, with a quarterly growth of 0.9% and an annual decline of 20.5%. Shipments of large-size panels in September, including desktop monitors, notebook computers, and LCD TVs, shipped more than 9.88 million panels, down 1.2% from August. Small and medium-sized panel shipments increased by approximately 5.4% from August, reaching approximately 18.71 million units.
