On August 29, 2013, the leading electronic component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific region, General Assembly Group, announced that its Pinjia Group launched NXP's latest mains-powered LED IC and its driver solution.
The NXP medium and small power commercial power supply non-dimming LED driver IC selection table and the thyristor dimming LED driver IC selection table launched as shown in the figure below. These LED driver solutions include compact thyristor dimming ICs based on GreenChip â„¢ technology-SSL210X, SSL21082A / 84A, SSL2129A series and non-dimming ICs-SSL21081 / 83, SSL2109A series, and two other special SSL4101 and SSL4120 for high power dimmable LED applications.

At the same time, Pinjia Group also launched corresponding LED solution prototypes, including non-dimming and non-isolating solutions --- SSL21081, non-dimming and isolating solutions --- SSL2109A and SSL21151, dimming solutions --- SSL2129A , Medium power flyback scheme SSL4101 and high power resonance scheme SSL4120.

Among them, the selection of high-power dimmable LED driver ICs with power ranges from 25W to 400W is divided into two categories: 1. SSL4101 of NXP, using Flyback flyback topology circuit structure, and integrated PFC controller suitable for 25W ~ 150W The power LED drive circuit between 2. The SSL4120 of NXP uses LLC resonant topology circuit structure, and at the same time integrates the PCF controller, which is suitable for the LED drive circuit with power between 75W ~ 400W. The maximum conversion efficiency of these two drivers is as high as 95%.
