With the Solar Spectrum Uniform Source system, Labsphere's light metrics experts can simulate the spectral shape of sunlight and generate uniform radiation, often due to testing and calibration requirements for portable display and imaging. Increasingly, the industry's first extended balanced light source can be used in all applications that require sunlight and daylight.
The Solar Spectral Equilibrium Source is designed for systems or requirements: Lambertian Solar Simulation Test High Speed Photography System, Spatial Imaging System, Elementary Broadband Sensors, Photoelectric and Quantum Efficiency, and Dynamic Range, Linearity, and Equalization of Focal Plane Arrays test. The source relies on a helium, tungsten halogen source and an integrating sphere to reproduce the spectral shape of the solar radiation. The system produces spectral emissions that are approximately 100% reflectance source or spectral curves that conform to ASTM Standard D65.
In addition to the radiation balance of more than 98%, the solar spectrally balanced source is also close to the blackbody spectrum, with color temperatures ranging from 3000K to 6000K. The system includes a photodetector for brightness detection - a wide dynamic range, low noise CCD-based spectrometer for monitoring spectral irradiance from 350nm to 1050nm, spectrometer and balanced source control software And multiple detectors are available for selection. It has two modes to meet customer demand for output irradiance and lighting areas.
Variable attenuators and motor controllers allow users to automatically control spectral irradiance through an external port. Brightness levels are shown in candelas per square meter (candela / m2) and feet - lamber (fL), and calibration is done by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
