Welcome bulldozer: Opteron LOGO looks new

Yesterday, when the official announcement of the new architecture of the Interlagos Opteron server processor based on the bulldozer began shipping, AMD also made some updates to the official website on the introduction of the Opteron platform, silently joined the new Opteron LOGO logo.

The original Opteron LOGO logo has the same style as the Phenom II/Athlon II series. It is a rounded rectangle and black background. It was introduced from the K10 era. The main elements include the AMD Arrow logo, Opteron and 64 characters, and a four-section green. Ring.

Now the new LOGO logo is replaced with a similar design style of consumer products, the basic rounded corners, the bottom is a black and gray background AMD arrow logo, the top is written simple Opteron Processor words, but the background replaced Gradient green, different from the desktop, mobile platform gradient red. It seems that at least on the server platform, AMD has not been "eroded" by ATI.

AMD also listed several erroneous Opteron LOGO expressions, including the inability to replace the middle arc segmentation line with other styles such as a straight line. The green background above cannot be replaced with other colors, and the overall frame color cannot be changed at will.
