In these two "H" product lines, the resistive components are mounted on a PCB with a fixed axis. The conductive connection between the resistive element and the lead is achieved by a special low stress structure. After the assembled components are placed in the tinned brass casing, the water vapor in the package is discharged by a special process, then filled with oil, and sealed with solder to achieve uniform heat dissipation and reduce the influence of extreme environment. The sealed joint prevents moisture and oxygen from entering the package, and the oil acts as a heat conductor. By combining these technologies with Bulk Metal foil technology, Vishay has created the most sophisticated and stable "H" series of resistors.

Due to the extremely stringent standards, these devices can in fact be used as a set of benchmarks for routine or periodic calibration of factory test equipment. The accuracy of the H-series devices is measured at the laboratory and measurement levels, and additional internal steering processes are used to increase long-term stability, such as chip stabilization, special TCR calibration, additional processing for ultra-high stability, and special post-manufacturing (PMO), such as temperature cycling, short-term overload, and accelerated load life handling that can only be used on Bulk Metal foil resistors .

The H series devices have an ESD protection of up to 25kV with a rise time of 1ns and no ringing. The current noise is less than -40dB, the typical thermoelectromotive force is 0.05μV/°C, and the voltage coefficient is less than < 0.1ppm/V.
