On November 2, the Hubei Provincial Power Company and the Yichang Municipal Government signed the "12th Five-Year Plan" strategic cooperation agreement for power grid construction. According to the agreement, during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the Hubei Provincial Power Company will invest 7.5 billion yuan to build Yichang Power Grid. According to the contents of the agreement, during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the company plans to invest RMB 7.5 billion to build Yichang Power Grid. The power grid plan will be revised and repaired in time to ensure that the newly-increased power grid projects urgently needed in the economic development of Yichang City are included in the planning and will be given priority and implemented as soon as possible. By the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the Yichang 220 kV power grid will form a multi-terminal power grid centered on 500 kV substations and local large power plants to achieve segmented operation. The 110 kV power grids in urban areas and counties/cities (districts) are based on 220 kV substations, forming a strong grid structure with district-based power supply. The Yichang Municipal Government will establish a leading group for power grid construction tasked with taking charge of the mayor’s leadership, establish a joint conference system for power grid planning, construction and protection, further strengthen Yichang’s regional power grid planning and project construction, and provide a green channel for planning and site selection. , Give the greatest discount on administrative fees such as forest vegetation restoration fees. The two sides will also cooperate more closely in the areas of power transmission and transformation projects, urban power channel construction, and the approval and handling of state-owned land use right certificates.
