Holt Integrated Circuit Corporation of the United States announced that its HI-6130 / 31 BC / MT / RT multi-terminal 1553 avionics data bus interface has obtained the MIL-STD-1553 RT military standard certification from American Test Systems. The test system company was approved by the US Air Force to provide MIL-STD-1553 remote terminal testing services independently.
HI-6130 / 31 uses compact surface mount technology, is a 3.3V voltage, meets MIL-STD-1553 standard, BC / MT / RT terminal single chip, and is equipped with two transceivers. The HI-6130 uses a 16-bit parallel host bus interface and is packaged in a 100-pin plastic quad flat (PQFP). The HI-6131 uses a 4-wire serial peripheral host interface (SPI) and is available in a 64-pin PQFP or 64-pin quad flat no-lead (QFN) package. The 64-pin QFN is a small BC / MT / RT multi-terminal package with a volume of only 9 & TImes; 9 & TImes; 1mm3. Both devices comply with the MIL-STD-1553 standard, including information encoding, decoding, error detection, illegal instruction detection, and data buffering.
Storing data in 32k & TImes; 16-bit static random access memory with error detection and correction functions can simplify data management of the host. The operating temperature range of the two devices is -40 ~ 85 ℃ and -55 ~ 125 ℃, and can provide aging test in a wider temperature range. Each device has its own dedicated development kit, including a demo board with an ARM Cortex M3 microprocessor motherboard, a 32-kbyte KickStart version of the IAR system embedded integrated development environment, cables and power supply.
