Fairchild Semiconductor's Global Power ResourceSM Center (GPRC) in Shenzhen, China, develops an integrated power and backlighting solution for the fast-growing LED-backlit LCD TV market. The new solution is for 46-inch LED TVs. According to Fairchild's test results, the power of the new solution can be reduced to less than 110W compared to the 180W power required for a normal CCFL solution. Designed for LCD TVs, the FAN7930 PFC controller improves PFC values ​​and achieves high levels of integration. The FSFR1700L is an LLC all-in-one solution that is optimized for LCD TVs and enables efficient, thin designs. The multi-channel current balancing solution controlled by a microcontroller (MCU) uses phase shifting technology to improve display quality by reducing screen brightness flicker and provides a variety of system protection features.
